Shri Sant Nagebaba Co-op gives Rs 10 Lakh aid to Member’s family

In a commendable display of social commitment, the Ahmednagar-based Shri Sant Nagebaba Multistate Co-operative Society handed over a cheque of Rs 10 lakh to the family of its deceased member, Late Nikhil Bhausaheb Pawar, under the “Nagebaba Suraksha Kavach Yojana.”

The cheque was presented at the Wadala branch in the presence of local dignitaries, branch members, and society officials.

Founded under the visionary leadership of Chairman Kadubhau Kale, the society believes in serving its members beyond banking. Guided by a strong sense of social responsibility, it actively supports religious, educational, health, and community welfare initiatives throughout the year.

The Nagebaba Suraksha Kavach Yojana was launched with the aim of providing financial security to members and their families.

Under this scheme, in the event of an accidental death, the nominee receives Rs 10 lakh, and in case of an accident, up to Rs 5 lakh is provided towards hospitalization expenses.

Late Nikhil Pawar, a member of the Wadala branch, had enrolled in the scheme prior to his unfortunate demise. His surviving family includes his parents and a sister.
