The MP govt has asked district collectors to manage cooperative banks across the state, reports Free Press Journal.
Sources say the district collectors are supposed to improve the banking system. They will also carry out recovery of loans in a better way.
Meanwhile chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has called upon officials to ensure cooperative banks’ losses and their NPAs are significantly reduced.
