In a surprising turn of events for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, Samajwadi Party’s national general secretary Shivpal Yadav, initially set to contest from Budaun, announced his son Aditya Yadav as the official candidate, responding to public demand.
Aditya will file his nomination during Navratri, following the wishes of the youth.
This move echoes a previous shift where Dharmendra Yadav was replaced by Shivpal Yadav, highlighting the party’s dynamic strategy for electoral success.
Like his father, Aditya is a veteran co-operator having been PCF Chairman and on the board of IFFCO. He continues to be on the Board of ICA.
