In a proud moment for the cooperative sector, women representatives of Shivkrupa Credit Society were felicitated at the prestigious Sahakar Samrajni – Saksham Mahila, Saksham Sahakar Award Ceremony 2026, organized by the Maharashtra State Cooperative Credit Societies Federation in Kolhapur.
The awards were presented by Maharashtra’s Health Minister Prakash Abitkar, recognising outstanding contributions of women in the cooperative movement.
Mrs. Punamtai Jagdale, Director, received the Best Woman Director Award, while Mrs. Padma Nikam was honoured with the Sahakar Samrajni Award. Mrs. Sushma Chavan received a Special Encouragement Award, and Mrs. Yogita Melavane was recognised for her contribution to the sector.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including MP Dhananjay Mahadik, Mayor Rupirani Nikam, Rajshreetai Patil, Arundhati Mahadik, and Kakasaheb Koyate.
Founder-Chairman Gorakh Chavan and Vice-Chairman Chandrakant Vanjari said the institution promotes women’s holistic development, adding that women officers have played a key role in its growth and success.
