Amit Shah, Union Home and Cooperation Minister, will address Earth Summit 2025?26 in Gandhinagar on 5 December 2025-a landmark global forum that places cooperatives at the centre of tech-driven rural renewal.
The two-day summit, organized by NABARD and IAMAI, brings together startup innovators, cooperative federations, policy-makers and rural entrepreneurs to showcase how digital tools, AgriTech and RuralTech can supercharge India’s rural economy.
The importance of these gathering lies in the broader context of the nation’s new National Cooperation Policy 2025, which was launched to mobilize over 8.5 lakh cooperatives, with 30+ crore members, as engines of inclusive growth, financial empowerment and market access for farmers, artisans and rural entrepreneurs.
At the Summit, the role of cooperatives in enabling climate-resilient agriculture, renewable-energy adoption, rural skill development, and digitized supply-chains will be spotlighted.
Minister Amit Shah’s address is expected to articulate India’s long-term vision: leveraging cooperative networks backed by technology to deliver sustainable livelihoods, equitable growth and a transformed rural economy.
