Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the “Workshop on Sustainability and Circularity in Dairy Sector” on March 3, 2025, in New Delhi.
Organized by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD) with NDDB, the workshop will focus on sustainable dairy farming, environmental responsibility, and circular economy principles like reuse and recycling.
Key highlights include MoU signings for biogas plants, new financing initiatives, and guidelines for eco-friendly dairy practices. Experts from NDDB, industry, and global bodies will discuss manure management, biogas production, carbon credits, and waste-to-energy solutions.
The event aligns with PM Modi’s vision of ‘Sahkar se Samriddhi’ and will feature top officials from multiple ministries, including Fisheries, Renewable Energy, and Climate Change, to promote sustainable dairy growth.
