Honorable Union Health and Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister Dr. @mansukhmandviya Ji will also be present. This is a proud moment for the entire IFFCO family.”

Speaking to the India Cooperative, IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani who is currently in Gandhinagar said he would reaching at Kalol on time to receive the two ministers. It’s a matter of pride for us indeed , added Sanghani.

It bears recalling that the plant has been set up at the cost of Rs 250 crore at the IFFCO’s Kalol Unit in Gujarat and it is fully automatic.

The newly developed IFFCO Nano DAP will not only reduce the cost in comparison to conventional DAP but also cut down the subsidy. It is said that one bottle of Nano DAP would cost around Rs 600.

Currently, the cost of one bag of conventional DAP is Rs1,350, while the actual cost of a bag is Rs 4,000. The gap between actual cost and prices paid by the farmers is borne by the government under the fertiliser subsidy head.
