Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will visit Pune-based cooperative institution-Vamnicom on 26th November 2021, said top officials of the cooperative ministry.
It is reported that Maharashtra’s former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other cooperative leaders including MSC Bank and Maharashtra UCB Federation Chairman Vidyadhar Anaskar will accompany Shah.
It is said it will be the first visit of Shah after becoming the first cooperative minister.
Earlier, Anaskar mooted the idea of conversion of Vamnicom into Sahakar Vidyapith and setting up of a Co-op University in Pune, underlining the city’s primacy in the cooperative sector.
