Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah officially inaugurated a new cooperative complex in Ahmedabad, signaling a major boost for the region’s cooperative sector.
The facility, part of a broader infrastructure initiative, will serve as a hub for local cooperative societies to coordinate activities, manage supplies, and support farmer and producer groups.
Speaking at the event, Shah highlighted the government’s emphasis on modernizing and integrating cooperatives, across dairy, banking, agriculture, and housing, to enhance efficiency and accountability
The complex is expected to facilitate improved access to credit, services, and training for rural stakeholders, reinforcing the cooperative movement’s role in grassroots development.
