A national-level “Cooperative Chintan Shivir” is being organised in New Delhi on January 12 under the auspices of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. The event aims to deliberate on the evolving role of professionals in strengthening India’s cooperative and economic ecosystem.
The Chintan Shivir will be centred on the theme “Transforming India’s Economic Future through the Expanded Role of Chartered Accountants (CAs)”.
It will focus on how the expertise of CAs can contribute to improving governance, transparency and financial sustainability within cooperatives and allied institutions.
Union Minister of State for Cooperation Krishan Pal Gurjar will attend the programme as a distinguished guest. Former Union Minister and Founder Chancellor of Rishihood University Suresh Prabhu will also grace the occasion, adding further weight to the deliberations with his experience in economic policy and institutional development.
The conclave is expected to bring together policymakers, professionals and stakeholders to exchange ideas on leveraging professional capabilities for cooperative growth and broader national economic transformation.
