Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has issued a strong statement in support of the Indian armed forces following the launch of Operation Sindoor, asserting that the Modi government is fully committed to uprooting terrorism and delivering a decisive response to those who threaten India’s peace and security.
Taking to social media, Shah said, “Proud of our armed forces. #OperationSindoor is Bharat’s response to the brutal killing of our innocent brothers in Pahalgam. The Modi government is resolved to give a befitting response to any attack on India and its people.”
He further emphasized that Bharat remains unwavering in its mission to eliminate terrorism from its roots, underlining the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards terror activities.
The statement comes amid a high-level security operation reportedly launched in the aftermath of a recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam region, where several civilians lost their lives. Sources suggest Operation Sindoor is a targeted crackdown involving intelligence-driven strikes aimed at dismantling militant networks operating in the region.
