“It gives me pleasure to extend our support to Shri Chandrapal Yadav as he contests the election as Board Member and President of the ICA AP”, reads a letter written by SEWA supporting Indian candidate Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav in the elections of ICA AP.

“We have known Chandrapalji in his capacity as President of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) and as a champion of the rights of the downtrodden in India as a Member of Parliament. He is one of India’s most experienced and committed co-operators and has always shown special concern for farmers. He has also served as Vice-President of the ICA AP and is thus well-versed with the international cooperative movement and its functioning” reads the letter.

The letter further says “We are sure that he will lead the ICA AP ably with his years of valuable experience, his deep insights of the cooperative sector and especially his commitment to the vulnerable groups in both India and overseas.”

“We assure him of our fullest support in his candidature for both the ICA AP regional board and as the President of this board. We offer him our best wishes for this and other endeavours”, it concludes.
