Thirty-nine cooperative societies in Ernakulam district are under investigation for alleged irregularities over the past eight years, as revealed by a response from the Ernakulam Joint Registrar General’s office to a Right to Information (RTI) request.
The RTI application, filed by activist Raju Vazhakkala, sought information on cooperative societies’ compliance from April 1, 2016, to July 31, 2024.
