Once again, South Canara District Central Cooperative Bank (SCDCC), Mangalore has shown the pioneering spirit. It has started ” bank-cum-ATM on wheels”. The SCDCC had earlier begun an experiment with ” bank-on-wheels” to deliver banking services to customers’ door.
Mr G.R. Chintala, Chief GM Nabard , Karnataka who flagged off the co-op bank’s latest innovation was all praise for the bank for adopting core banking solutions.
The way primary agricultural credit cooperative societies under the bank use the cutting edge core banking solutions is a model in itself in the cooperative sector, said Chintala.
SCDCC bank chairman M.N. Rajendra Kumar thanked Nabard for helping in the experiment as well as patted himself on the back for using new methods to offer advanced banking services to its customers.
