Madhya Pradesh Cooperation Minister Vishwas Sarang on Tuesday held a one-to-one interaction with the Chief Executive Officers of all cooperative banks of the state at the Apex Bank, Bhopal, to review their current activities, achievements and operational performance.
During the detailed review meeting, the minister assessed the functioning of the banks and issued necessary directions for preparing a strong and result-oriented roadmap to further strengthen the cooperative banking sector in the state.
Emphasis was laid on improving efficiency, transparency and service delivery to benefit farmers and cooperative members.
On the occasion, cooperative institutions that delivered outstanding performance in various categories were felicitated, and their efforts were appreciated to encourage healthy competition and excellence within the cooperative framework.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, Cooperation, D.P. Ahuja; Commissioner, Cooperation, Manoj Pushp; Managing Director of Apex Bank, Manoj Gupta, along with senior officials of the Cooperation Department and CEOs of District Central Cooperative Banks from across Madhya Pradesh.
