According to media reports, a Delhi court has summoned Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in a defamation complaint filed by the Union Minister Gajendra Singh Sekhawat.
The court has asked the Rajasthan chief minister to appear before the court on August 7. It is worth repeating that the complaint against Gehlot is that he defamed the union minister by his remarks on his involvement in the Sanjivani scam.
The Sanjivini scam involves thousands of investors allegedly getting cheated of Rs 900 crore by the Sanjivani Credit Cooperative Society.
