Sanghani trolled; Kurien’s daughter wants people to ignore

Nirmala Kurien, the daughter of Dr. Verghese Kurien has asked people to ignore uncharitable comments on her father and instead focus on the work done by him. She was referring to Dilip Sanghani’s comment on Kurien. Sanghani is also being trolled extensively on social media ever since he made statement, not kind to Kurien.

Nirmala Kurien was participating in a function at Anand to celebrate the birthday of the Milkman of India-Dr Kurien. GCMMF MD R S Sodhi and other officials were also present on the occasion. Kurien’s birth day on November 26 is celebrated as National Milk Day across India.

It bears recall that earlier in a bike rally launched to celebrate Kurien’s birth day in Amreli, senior cooperator Dilip Sanghani had charged Kurien of bias against Hinduism and a soft corner for Christian mission.

“I am an apolitical entity and so do not ask me anything. But what I know is that both Kurien and Tribhuvan Patel were great men who ushered in White revolution in the country. Recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated a huge building in the name of Tribhuvan Patel”, said Sodhi on phone steering clear of the ongoing debate.

Sanghani’s not so kind words against the icon that Kurien is for farmers of Gujarat today have been opposed by many people in the social media. He is being trolled with many calling him names.

Making a mockery of Amul advt one Sunil Menon writes “utterly butterly malicious”. One Vishnu Menon calls Sanghani a lying asshole and reminds him that Kurein was an atheist who did not believe in any religion. Even GCMMF MD, R S Sodhi, who was present at the time of Kurien’s death said in his PTI interview that following his wish Kurien was cremated like a Hindu.
