The newly elected President of NCUI Dileep Sanghani is likely to meet Union State Minister Parshottam Rupala along with Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav on Friday to move forward on issues before the apex co-op body.
Talking to Indian Cooperative Sanghani said “Though we were together for two days in Amreli where we discussed a host of issues, a formal meeting with the Minister was the need of the hour”. While Rupala came to Delhi from Amreli in the evening, Sanghani followed him the next morning.
It bears recall that Rupala participated in the felicitation function organized for Sanghani in Amerli. The event, which saw a huge turnout of Sanghani supporters, was widely covered by local media which blamed the organizers for ignoring the norm of social distancing.
Readers may note that the decision to elect Sanghani as the next President of NCUI was taken in a meeting of the three- Rupala, Chandra Pal and Sanghani much before it became public.
Is this a meeting meant for thanksgiving? Or a meeting aimed at sorting out the NCCT issue. Only time can tell.
