Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited is set to roll out a nationwide campaign to promote the use of nano fertilizers, aiming to boost agricultural productivity and sustainability across the country. The initiative, titled the IFFCO Nano Fertilizer Awareness Maha Abhiyan, aligns with the cooperative sector’s vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” (prosperity through cooperation).
The campaign will be formally inaugurated today on Friday at IFFCO Sadan in Saket, New Delhi, by Dileep Sanghani, Chairman of IFFCO. K. J. Patel, Managing Director of the cooperative, will also be present on the occasion.
Following the inauguration, Sanghani is expected to address the media, outlining the objectives of the campaign and its extensive nationwide outreach. The initiative seeks to raise awareness among farmers about the benefits of nano fertilizers, which are considered a transformative innovation in agriculture due to their efficiency, reduced environmental impact, and potential to enhance crop yields.
IFFCO, one of the world’s largest fertilizer cooperatives, has been at the forefront of promoting advanced agricultural inputs. Through this Maha Abhiyan, the organization plans to engage farmers, cooperatives, and stakeholders across India to encourage the adoption of nano fertilizers as part of sustainable farming practices.
The campaign is expected to include outreach programmes, demonstrations, and awareness drives at the grassroots level, reinforcing IFFCO’s commitment to empowering farmers and strengthening India’s agricultural ecosystem.
