Dileepbhai Sanghani, senior cooperator and Chairman NAFSCOB the apex body of state cooperative banks met the former Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and discussed various issues related to cooperatives at his residence in Mumbai last week.
Talking to Indian Cooperative Sanghani said we talked on several issues like how to give employment to women through cooperatives and strengthen the cooperative movement in the country. The meeting lasted an hour and cooperators felicitated Pawar with bouquet.
Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank managing director Pramod Karnad was also present in the meeting.
”The former minister and NCP stalwart Sharad Pawar assured us of his unqualified support in meeting the challenges facing the cooperative movement, said Sanghani.
Sanghani thanked NAFSCOB Managing Director Bhima Subramanyam for making this meeting with cooperative doyen Pawar possible.
