The foundation stone for the new building of the IFFCO Cooperative Rural Development Trust (CORDAT) at Kalol was laid by Dileep Sanghani, Chairman of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO).
The upcoming facility is expected to serve as a key centre for training, research, and capacity building for farmers, cooperative institutions, and professionals associated with the agriculture sector. The initiative is aimed at strengthening cooperative education and promoting modern agricultural practices among stakeholders.
Several senior IFFCO officials were present at the ceremony, including Sandeep Ghosh, Unit Head of the Kalol Unit; P. K. Singh, General Manager of the Nano Plant; Damor, State Marketing Manager; and Suresh Kavad, Principal of CORDAT Kalol. A large number of IFFCO officers and employees also attended the event.
The new CORDAT building is expected to play an important role in knowledge sharing and further strengthening the cooperative ecosystem in the agricultural sector.
