Sanghani chairs IPL Board meeting in Delhi

The Indian Potash Limited organized its board of directors meeting at New Delhi on Wednesday, which was chaired by IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani. IFFCO  MD Dr U S Awasthi, Biscomaun Chairman Dr Sunil Kumar Singh, among others attended the meeting.

It bears recall that the Government of India has allowed import of Urea through Indian Potash Limited (IPL) for a period up to 31st March 2024.

The notification in this regard was released on Wednesday by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, signed by Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Director General of Foreign Trade.

It reads, “Import of Urea (Agricultural grade) on Government account shall be allowed either by designated STEs itself, or through entities (fertilizer Marketing Entities) so authorized by the Department of Fertilizer from time to time, for filing BEs at Indian ports”.
