The “Sardar@150 Unity March” in Vadodara, Gujarat, was marked by enthusiastic participation and a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s contribution to national integration. Senior cooperative leader Dileep Sanghani joined the march and shared the moment through a tweet, expressing gratitude for being part of the event and underscoring the relevance of Patel’s ideals in contemporary India.
The march was attended by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat along with Minister Nareshbhai Patel, State Minister P. C. Baranda, Telangana BJP General Secretary Pramendra Reddy, former minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, former Union Minister Dr Vallabhbhai Kathiria, Vadodara District BJP President Rashikbhai Prajapati, former minister Brijeshbhai Merja, MLA Akshaybhai Patel, Councillor Nitinbhai Donga (Mama), and many other dignitaries.
Since 2014, India has been observing Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary as National Unity Day, with marches, runs and events held nationwide to celebrate unity and integration.
The Vadodara march reflected the same spirit, highlighting cooperative and public participation. Ace cooperator Sanghani’s presence added significance to the occasion, reinforcing the message of harmony and collective progress.
