Samata Patsanstha’s business nears Rs 2,000 Crore

Maharashtra’s Kopargaon-based Samata Patsanstha has reported a robust financial performance for the financial year ending March 31, 2026, with its total business nearing the Rs 2,000 crore mark, marking a significant milestone in its 40-year journey.

According to the institution’s latest financial disclosure, total deposits stood at Rs 1,130 crore, reflecting sustained trust among members and depositors. The total loan portfolio reached Rs 825 crore, taking the combined business (deposits + loans) to approximately Rs 1,955 crore.

Gold loans continued to dominate the lending portfolio, accounting for Rs 600 crore, highlighting the institution’s strong foothold in secured lending.

The Patsanstha also reported investments worth Rs 311 crore, indicating a balanced and prudent financial strategy. Net profit for the year stood at Rs 8.25 crore, underlining stable earnings and operational efficiency.

Chairman Omprakash Dadappa alias Kaka Koyte, along with the Board of Directors and staff, expressed gratitude to all members, depositors, borrowers, and well-wishers for their continued support.

Celebrating four decades of service, Samata Patsanstha reaffirmed its commitment to delivering reliable financial services with a focus on stability and consistent returns.
