Ahmednagar (Maharashtra) based Samata Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha crossed the business mix of more than Rs 1500 crore in the 2023-24 financial year. The credit society has performed well on almost all the financial parameters in the said FY.
The business mix of the society rose from Rs 1350 crore in 2022-23 to Rs 1594 crore as on 31st March 2024. The deposits of the society increased from Rs 792.51 crore to Rs 924 crore whereas loans & advances grew from Rs 558 crore to Rs 670 crore in the 2022-23 FY.
Kaka Koyate, a notable cooperator of Maharashtra, heads the credit cooperative who is also the Chairman of Maharashtra State Cooperative Credit Societies Federation. Under the leadership of Koyate, the credit society is on the growth path.
