The 67th All India Cooperative Week was inaugurated in the premises of Jabalpur District Cooperative Bank. The program began with a Sahakari song followed by the hoisting of the cooperative flag.
Speaking on the occasion, Shivam Mishra, Additional Commissioner of District Cooperative Union underscored the need for cooperatives. The principal of the cooperative training institute, Yashovardhan Pathak explained the importance of cooperative week.
It was also decided that efforts should be made to introduce cooperatives in Jabalpur University in the post-graduation course.
