The fertilizer cooperative-IFFCO organized a cooperative conference at Motihari (Bihar) on Sunday, which was inaugurated by the former union agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh.
IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi and Motihari MLA Pramod Kumar were invited as the guests of honour. On this occasion, IFFCO Director Prem Chandra Munshi, IFFCO Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar, PACS Chairman, Krishnandan Paswan, Shyambabu Yadav, cooperators, thousands of farmers and others were present.
In his speech, Radha Mohan Singh said the cooperative sector is developing under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah through the ‘Sahakar Se Samriddhi’ mantra.
He made an announcement to provide drones to Farmers Producers Organization (FPOs) and Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS).
Addressing the participants, IFFCO Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar informed the participants about a range of products- Nano DAP and Nano Urea and asked the farmers to grab the new technology which is not only environmentally friendly but also reduces the cost of farming.
Biscomaun Chairman Dr Sunil Kumar Singh gave a rousing welcome to IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi on his arrival at Patna.
