Sahakara Bhawan at Malleswaram

karnataka cmThe Karnataka govt. has decided to take a raft of measures to bolster the cooperative movement in the state including provision of a 20 paise subsidy per litre of milk produced by cooperative societies.

The state govt has also resolved to establish a new training center for cooperatives and construction of a Sahakara Bhawan at Malleswaram.

All these announcements were made when the state chief minister Siddaramaiah presided over the ‘launch of yet another program by the Karnataka Milk Federation to promote milk cooperatives in the state ‘ the Nandni Gold Cattle Feed” as part of the cooperative week celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion, cooperation minister Mahadev Prasad lauded the new program claiming the nutraceutical scheme would immensely boost milk production in Karnataka.
