The RSS leaning Sahakar Panel has grabbed most of the seats of the board of directors of Gujarat based Sardar Bhiladwala Pardi People’s Co-op. Bank Ltd in the election held on Monday.
The board consists of 18 directors and the Sahakar Panel has won 11 seats. and the remaining seats have been won by the opposite panel. The outgoing Chairman Sharad Desai who belongs to BJP, has been defeated with a margin of 154 votes.
The BJP leaders including Kamlesh Gajanand Patel, MLA Bharat Patel, Arvind Desai, Vapi Napa Councilor Jeetu Desai won the elections.
