A delegation of Sahakar Bharati led by Rajdutt Pandey, National In-charge of the PACS Cell, undertook a central tour of Maharashtra’s Nashik division, covering Malegaon, Dhule, Jalgaon and Nashik districts to strengthen coordination with cooperative institutions and grassroots functionaries.
During his visit to Malegaon, Pandey held a significant meeting with Dr. Shiv Ji Dole, Chairman of Venkateshwara Cooperative Power and Agro Processing Ltd. The multi-state cooperative operates across 12 states and has a diverse membership base comprising farmers and retired Army personnel.
The society manages around 528 acres of agricultural land, cultivating fruits and vegetables on a large scale. It also runs a gaushala housing nearly 1,500 Gir cows and manufactures value-added products, including Panchgavya-based paints and other indigenous goods. Additionally, the cooperative provides free pre-recruitment training to youth aspiring to join the Agniveer scheme, helping them prepare for armed forces selection.
Pandey also held detailed discussions with the society’s secretary, Anil Pandey, focusing on cooperative expansion, rural empowerment and self-reliance initiatives.
As part of his tour, Rajdutt Pandey met with Sahakar Bharati workers across the Nashik division and visited several cooperative societies, interacting with their office bearers to review ongoing activities and explore avenues to further strengthen the cooperative movement in the region.
