Over 300 cooperative workers and representatives from more than 150 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) gathered in Bankura for a two-day convention organized by Sahkar Bharati’s PACS cell.
The event focused on pressing issues in the cooperative and rural credit sectors, especially challenges faced by PACS in governance, funding, and grassroots operations. Raj Dutt Pandey was the Chief guest on the occasion.
Key participants included Sahkar Bharati National Secretary Nandini Rai, State General Secretary Krishna Basak, National Co-Convenor of the Weavers’ Cell Saptarshi Singh, and leaders from the Managers’ Union. Officials from NABARD, NCDC, and multiple PACS secretaries also joined the discussion.
