Sah Bharati urges Maha govt to allow digital AGMs

Hitavada reports Vivek Jugade, member of the national executive of Sahakar Bharati has urged the Maharashtra govt to allow cooperative societies to hold annual general meetings virtually.

It is worth recalling that the occurrence of the corona virus had prevented cooperative bodies from holding their AGMs.

Jugade has submitted the memorandum to all the authorities concerned including Maharashtra cabinet minister of cooperatives Jayant Patil and minister of state Abha Shukla.

Sources say if the permission is given it will help cooperative banks and societies resolve all their problems.
