Union Minister of State for Agriculture Purhsottam Rupala warned those involved in undermining the milk union would not succeed in their mission. He said this while addressing a function organized by Amreli District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union to celebrate “Sharad Purnima”. Rupala is on the board of AMR Dairy.
Talking to this correspondent AMR Dairy founder chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani said it’s an event organized on the day of “Sharad Purnima” every year. The important feature of the event is we invite all and sundry to become part of this event” he said.
The programme started at late night with Garba (dance) and many other cultural events. The Sharad Purnima day is celebrated as Milk Day in Amreli, he added.
Addressing a gathering of about 10,000 people, AMR Dairy chairman Ashwinbhai Sawalia focused on explaining how to ensure a profitable cattle breeding, growth, and further progress of the Union.
Besides Sanghani, Parliamentary Secretary Heerabhai Solanki, District Cooperative Union Chairman Sharad Lakhani and other notable dignitaries took part in the function.
