Hansindia.com reports things are not alright in the RTC Co-operative Credit Society. Due to RTC ownership, the society, which made a profit with interest by lending the workers’ savings in exchange for their needs, was on the verge of closing down.
It is said a huge amount of money must be repaid to the society by the RTC. In view of the financial crisis, thousands of workers cancelled their membership and applied for a settlement.
