Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture in Meerut recently organized a Krishi Mela where the fertilizer cooperative Kribhco UP State Manager Dr V.K.Tomar was felicitated.
Tomar was felicitated by the Prof. Gaya Prasad, Vice-Chancellor of University and was presented with a memento and a shawl on this occasion.
Encouraging farmers, Kribhco distributed among them the certificates of appreciation. Kribhco officials also thanked the farmers to make the mela successful by bringing animals in the fair.
Experts also spoke to farmers and informed them about the new farming technology and how can they double their income till 2022
“Yuvraj”, a super buffalo, turned out to be a star attraction in the Mela and was surrounded with a dozen of security guards and gunmen. This buffalo is now a big prized possession and is valued at Rs 9.25 crore.
