The Registrar Cooperative Societies J&K Shafqat Iqbal was recently in Budgam to get an idea of how cooperative societies function and the construction work of the District Cooperative Consumer Store, reports Brighter Kashmir.
Iqbal visited Gousia Cooperative Educational Institution Panzan Chadoora. He also visited Farmers Sale and Service Cooperative Society Ltd. Mirgund Budgam.
He asked the society’s management to ensure the availability of quantity fertilizers to the farmers at discount rates.
