A joint review meeting of the District Cooperative Bank, Haridwar, and the Cooperative Department was held under the joint chairmanship of Chief Development Officer Haridwar and Additional Registrar (Cooperatives) Anand Shukla.

The meeting focused on infusing new energy and efficiency into the cooperative and banking sector, with several far-reaching decisions taken.

The progress of PACS computerization was reviewed, and it was directed that all societies must be fully transformed into e-PACS by January 2026.

Committees were further instructed to diversify their business activities to enhance profitability, reduce imbalances, ensure effective recovery of NPAs, and maintain manpower balance in loss-making societies.

Branch managers were given strict instructions to achieve significant growth in deposits, strengthen business diversification, and bring NPAs under control. To further spread cooperative awareness, the District Assistant Registrar and Secretary/Managing Director were directed to organize various programs as per the calendar prepared to mark Cooperative Year 2025.

The meeting saw active participation from all branch managers, secretaries of societies, and senior officials of both the department and the bank, reflecting a strong commitment to strengthening cooperative banking in Haridwar.
