The International Cooperative Alliance Asia-Pacific (ICA-AP) has officially opened registrations for its 17th Regional Assembly, scheduled to take place from 24 to 28 November 2025 at Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel, Colombo.
Hosted by the National Council of Cooperatives in Sri Lanka (NCCSL), the event is being co-organized with the Department of Cooperative Development (DCD), SANASA Federation Ltd., and the Matara District Cooperative Hospital Society Ltd. (MDCHS).
The five-day gathering will include the 12th Asia-Pacific Cooperative Forum, thematic seminars and workshops organized by ICA-AP committees, and the election of a new Regional Board.
This edition is especially significant as it aligns with the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives 2025, under the theme “Cooperatives Build a Better World.”
The Assembly will also mark the regional culmination of IYC 2025 celebrations.
