A large number of cooperators recently felicitated Satish Marathe in a function in Pune for being appointed as the Director on the Central Board of RBI. Sahakar Bharti had organized the function.
It bears recall that Marathe has been inducted as the Director on the Central Board of RBI. Some of the country’s finest minds hailing from different fields are RBI’s directors.
Those present during the function were Uday Joshi, National General Secretary,Sahakar Bharati, Prof.(Dr.) Mukundji Tapkir, President, Sahakar Bharati Maharashtra State, Senior Executives such as CEOs, Chairman & GMs of various Urban Co-operative Banks.
Marathe’s followers lost no time in sharing the details through social media and also posted scores of photographs which showed dignitaries putting turban on Marathe’s head.
Meanwhile, cooperators are optimistic that the appointment of Marathe on the Central board of RBI would immensely help the Urban Cooperative Banking Sector. “We are having lots of expectations from Marathe and we are sure that he will not disappoint us”, said a participant to Indian Cooperative.
Marathe has been on the Board of several UCBs including that of Rajkot Nagrik Sahakari Bank.
