RBI allows Rampur DCCB to start mobile banking

RBI has allowed Uttar Pradesh-based Rampur District Cooperative Bank to start mobile banking services for its customers and it is the first DCCB of the state which got this facility.

The bank has 29 branches across the district and a customer base of 5 lakh. To avail of the mobile banking facility the bank had applied for last year and got the permission last week.

Commenting on this development, the bank Chairman Devkaran Gangwar said that now the customers of Rampur DCCB will also get the facility of mobile banking. This will give great convenience to the customers in the day-to-day transactions. The bank will soon launch this facility, he added.
