RBI has allowed Maharashtra’s State Cooperative (MSC) Bank to set-up the regional office at Solapur, Maharashtra. It will be MSCB’s seventh regional office in the state.
The formal inauguration of the new office is likely to take place soon, said one of the top officials at MSC Bank. MSC bank is having its regional offices at Pune, Nashik, Nanded, Nagpur, Kolhapur and Aurangabad.
Earlier, Solapur Sugar Factories had to deal with offices in Pune and Nanded for taking loans but the new office in Solapur will make things easier for them.
MSC Bank has around 52 branches across Maharashtra and about 17 ATM centers.
