Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader Kona Tata Rao assumed charge as Chairman of the Visakhapatnam District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) on Monday, according to media reports.
The event saw the presence of JSP, TDP, and BJP representatives, party leaders, and supporters who warmly felicitated him. Speaking to the media, Rao emphasized his commitment to developing the bank and safeguarding farmers’ interests without political interference.
Highlighting the coalition government’s farmer-centric agenda, he said the bank would aim to meet targets for providing loans to plain-area farmers during kharif and rabi, and to tribal farmers in ASR district.
