Dr. Bakshi Ram got the U S Awasthi Lifetime Achievement FAI Award in the field of Agriculture Research & Development for his work in agricultural sciences and K L Singh got the U S Awasthi Lifetime Achievement FAI Award in Fertiliser Industry for his contribution in growth & development of fertiliser industry.
The awards were given away by Union Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister Mansukh Mandaviya in the presence of IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi and other eminent dignitaries were present on this occasion.
The awards were announced at the Annual Seminar of FAI kicked off at the Hotel Pullman, Aerocity, New Delhi on Wednesday.
The value of each Award named “The U S Awasthi IFFCO Award for Lifetime Achievement is INR 2.5 million-plus a Gold Medallion and Citation.
Both of the award winners expressed their thanks to IFFCO especially IFFCO MD Dr. U S Awasthi. The Awards were constituted in 2017.
