Ram Iqbal Singh has been elected unopposed as the Chairman of the National Federation of Farmers Procurement, Processing and Retailing Cooperative of India (NACOF).
Ranjit Singh, son of noted cooperative leader late Tapeshwar Singh, has also been elected unopposed as the Vice-Chairman of the federation.
The Cooperative Election Authority has approved the names of the newly elected office-bearers, clearing the way for them to assume their respective positions.
Leaders and members of the cooperative sector have extended their congratulations to the newly elected Chairman and Vice-Chairman, expressing confidence that the new leadership will further strengthen NACOF’s role in promoting farmer welfare and cooperative development.
