Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh gave away the State Award namely Thakur Pyarelal Singh Award to Gaurela Cooperative Marketing Institute Ltd Pendra Road, Bilaspur for effectively implementing the true objective and principles of cooperative and for strengthening the spirit of cooperative among people, reports The Hitavada from Raipur.
These State Awards were given to 18 persons and two institutions on the occasion of Rajyotsav-2016 on Saturday for their exemplary contributions in their respective fields.
Governor Balramji Dass Tandon and Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh who were also on the dais extended their best wishes and congratulations to the Awardees for their contribution to the society.
Among others, Bilasabai Kevatin Award has been bestowed upon Sanendra Kumar Baghel for his contribution in the field of fisheries, developing fish seeds and their conservation, pisciculture and development of additional water bodies.
