An IAS officer of 2012 batch, Rajesh Meena has taken over as the new Registrar of Cooperative societies in Patna. Held as a competent officer, Meena has served as DM of many districts of the state.
Bandana Preyashi, Secretary Co-operatives and several other officials welcomed Meena on beginning his new assignment.
Obviously, Meena has his work cut out to ignite the co-op movement in the state. Though Bihar has more than 19 DCCBs and thousands of PACS operating in the state, the UCB sector is in a shambles.
