Addressing a review meeting of MDs of Central Cooperative Banks of Rajasthan at the apex bank headquarters, the state cooperative minister Gautam Kumar Dak said that financial irregularities would not be tolerated in cooperative banks.

“If anyone is found in financial irregularities, the strict action of suspension will be taken in case of any kind of negligence. The officials and employees have to work according to rules and regulations”, he added.

He said that the special emphasis should be put on taking concrete steps to strengthen the banking system and making arrangements for training. Besides, the initiatives launched by the Ministry of Cooperation should be implemented in the business of Gram Seva Sahkari Samitis. The computerization process of PACS should be expedited, Dak said.

Rajasthan Cooperation Secretary Shuchi Tyagi gave instructions about following the norms of RBI and NABARD. Janaushadhi Kendras network should be expanded to Gram Seva Sahkari Samitis, she stressed.

In the meeting, Registrar Cooperative Archana Singh, Rajasthan StCB MD Bhomaram, Additional Registrar Banking Gunjan Chabey and others were present.
