A series of meetings took place in several parts of Rajasthan in regard to preparing the Vision Document, 2030, on Monday, in which representatives of cooperatives participated and presented their views.
One such meeting was organized at the Rajiv Gandhi Sahkar Bhawan, Jaipur. The stakeholders from cooperatives were apprised about several challenges facing co-ops.
Similarly, a meeting was organized by the Cooperative Department’s Udaipur unit, in which cooperators associated with Central District Cooperative Banks, Land Development Banks and others participated.
During the meeting, cooperators raised several issues including the formation of Gram Seva Sahakari Samiti, Construction of Godowns, establishment of custom hiring centres and others.
It bears recalling that the Rajasthan government is preparing the ‘Vision Document 2030’ and consultations are going with the people. In the document all sectors including cooperatives would be covered.
Readers would recall that earlier the Rajasthan Principal Cooperation Secretary Ms. Shreya Guha had directed officials to organize meetings at the district level with cooperators.
Consultations with stakeholders are being organized from August 28, 2023 to September 9, 2023.
