The scams in Adarsh, Navjivan and Sanjivini Credit Societies involving a whopping amount of Rs 16 thousand crore are just the tip of the iceberg.
Following the revelation of frauds in the three credit societies, SOG has begun probing into irregularities in about 151 multi-state credit societies in Rajasthan.
Whether headquartered in Rajasthan or in other states these credit societies are carrying out their activities in Rajasthan as well.
Nearly 67 percent of them have their headquarters in Rajasthan.
