Rajasthan’s cooperative sector has achieved remarkable growth, with the state witnessing the formation of 1,700 new M-PACS within just seven months, significantly strengthening its rural credit and service delivery network.
The expansion marks a major step in extending cooperative reach to previously underserved regions, especially Panchayats that earlier lacked PACS facilities.
According to official data, the state has achieved 65% of its two-year target in only seven months, reflecting accelerated implementation under the cooperative reforms framework.
During the year 2024–25, against the target of forming 297 new PACS, the state has already established 857, showcasing exceptional progress.
Rajasthan now stands as a national leader in strengthening grassroots cooperatives in line with the National Cooperation Policy, with a robust network of 8,823 functional PACS operating across the state.
Officials noted that the rapid formation of M-PACS has enhanced access to credit, agricultural services, and welfare schemes, ensuring broader benefits for rural communities and boosting overall cooperative efficiency.
